This moment isn’t loud. It’s not confident.
It’s the quiet ache we try to hide from others but can’t hide from ourselves.
Through the mirror, in the silence of your car, you whisper words you’re trying to believe.
“I am that bitch.”
Not out of ego but out of necessity. Out of survival!
This is one emotion from my debut short film. It is a visual affirmation of resilience, vulnerability, and the inner battles we fight when no one’s watching, especially for women who carry so much and are still told to carry more.
This is my first written, produced, and directed film, and it marks the beginning of a deeper journey into cinema.

A short film by Elle Edwards
“I AM THAT BITCH” – Sad is a one-minute visual affirmation about reclaiming power through vulnerability.
In the quiet of a car, a woman whispers words she’s trying to believe:
“I am that bitch.”
Not out of ego, but out of survival.
This is one emotional moment from Elle’s debut short film—a meditation on resilience, self-worth, and the inner strength women carry in silence.
